UCI Redbull Pump Track World Championships
The UCI Redbull Pump Track World Championships just wrapped up over the weekend in Santiago, Chile, with Dutch Meybo rider Niels Bensink taking the Rainbow jersey over US Dvide’s Alec Bob with the Silver and Frances Thibault du Pont with the bronze.
On the women’s side, Stay Strong’s Christa von Niederhäusern took the win with French Sunn team’s Sabina Košárková in Silver and Latvia’s Vineta Petersone in bronze.
It was a good live feed, compact that kept you engaged, Redbull sure knows how to do stuff right. Pump Track continues to grow and thrive, giving a different group of today’s top riders a path to race their bikes and possibly making a living at it in this discipline rather than chasing the Olympic dream and there’s nothing wrong with that.
